BRIDGING THE DISTANCE is an exhibition of artwork from Ohio Prison Arts Connection. In it, artists proximate to the justice system explore things that keep us apart, things that allow us to be connected, and the resourceful ways we adapt to and resist isolation and separation.
The exhibit is made possible with support of Friends of the Library, the Returning Artists Guild, the Ohio Arts Council, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, Puffin Foundation West, the HAALO Program in Montgomery County, Columbus Metropolitan Library, and the Fred + Howard Fund.
Exhibition curated by Stephanie Rond.
Artwork in cover image by Whitney Johnson and Shirley Tucker (in collaboration with participants in the HAALO Program).
